Denver is a real mix of the old and new west, something that clearly in the city’s architecture. Throughout downtown I’ve seen historic buildings nestled alongside sleek modern structures.
This mixing of eras is evident from the inside of the Denver Art Museum, which provides good views of both Michael Graves’ postmodern Denver Public Library
and the 1883 Byers-Evans House built for the founder of the Rocky Mountain News.
For a city that is so young, the architectural diversity is impressive.
