Travel Photo Roulette is a popular online photo competition. This week I not only managed to figured out who is hosting (since it moves each time, it can be hard to locate), but found the theme to be one that gives me loads of entry options (thank you Travel Photo Discovery).
For my entry, I am submitting a photograph from the morning fish market in Essaouira, Morocco.
The morning fish market in Essaouira sprawls out from the market building and into the harbor itself. It’s an exciting place for a photographer. . . . and a great place to check out options for lunch later in the day.
This is my entry for Travel Photo Roulette #66. Head on over to Photo Travel Discovery to check out this week’s entries or to add your own.

I have Morocco in my sights and would include a trip to Essaouira; I love this photo and the new look of your blog!
Thanks Leigh. The new look has been a long time coming and still needs a lot more work to get everything linked together, but I think it is worth the effort.
You would love Morocco – hire a driver so you can get out into the countryside and do some hiking. Geologically it is an amazing country with a far more varied landscape than I ever would have guessed. My favorite places were Essaouira and Erg Chebbi. Both were visually stunning with lots of unexpected contrasts. I’m hoping to get my Morocco pictures up this winter, so then you can see more.
