Summer at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden

(Last Updated On: November 22, 2019)

Last time I was at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden there was snow on the ground.

It’s a little different today.

It is cool inside the glass house, where Gehry’s graceful fish leaps above cheerful water lilies and tropical plants.

While Spoonbridge and Cherry captures my attention (how could it not),

I am (of course) most drawn to the flowers along the edge of the park.

(Really, this is more my kind of a garden.)

We do take time to look at the art too (including di Suvero’s Molecule and Hatcher’s Prophecy of the Ancients) before we have to move along.

  1. Sorry about the photo quality – I actually ran out the door without my good camera. . . my little Cannon can do good things, but it has some definite limitations.
