I wandered down to St. Paul’s newly restored Union Depot the other night to get a few shots during the blue hour.
To my surprise, I found an eternal blue hour inside the building, as crystal squares float in a blueness worthy of the finest early evening sky.
I suspect I’ll be photographing these again!

Beautiful!
Wow, what a stunning visual treat! Beautiful shapes, lighting and angles. What a delightful thing to photograph. Really gorgeous photos.
Thank you. It’s fun to have such cool art to photograph!
These are gorgeous! Magical comes to mind as well. My camera would be working overtime. Thanks for linking to Travel Photo Thursday this week.
Thanks. I’m eager to go back again and spend some more time with them.
Beautiful. I love the precision.
I like how you describe it as an eternal blue hour. Those squares are so beautiful and luminescent. Thank you so much for sharing your photos with us so that we may enjoy it, too.
It’s a wonderful piece of art and I neglected to credit the artist, Ray King, who desigend them as glass clouds and calls the work Twin Waves.
Absolutely brilliant design, colour & photographs. I’d visit the place in a heartbeat.
There’s lots of great hiking, biking, and kayaking down here. You should put us on your list!
