It’s only possible to visit a small portion of the Apostle Islands in a few days. Even in the best of conditions and wind and weather dictate the best routes and anchorages on any given day, further limiting options.
Our only goal at the beginning of the trip was to be in La Pointe for the Fourth of July fireworks display. . . which isn’t what happened.
