It looks as if it will be another beautiful day, perfect weather for spending some time out on Lake Vermilion.
As usual, we start with a quick check on the neighborhood kids, one of which is practicing using his wings.
It won’t be long before these juvenile eagles are soaring high above the lake with their parents.
It is a beautiful day to be out and along the way we run into others who feel the same, mostly fishermen, but also a family of osprey.
Where the lake is more easily accessible via road, there are more cabins and resorts, but there are still loons everywhere.
