Time to move along.
The Queen of Saanich, part of the BC Ferries fleet, is transporting us from the city of Vancouver to the city of Victoria on Vancouver Island.
The ferry is nearly empty, so we pretty much have our choice of seating. This is good, because it is too cold to stay out on deck for very long. I try though, mostly because I really want to see whales (I never see whales – I think I scare them) or at least SOME sea life.
I see another ferry and a couple of birds.
I also see houses, because, while the landscape is lovely, a good crop of vacation homes seems to be sprouting up everywhere. It isn’t exactly wilderness out here.
Not that it isn’t lovely.
