DC winter from my window

5:00 this afternoon (snowing again):

Now (9:00 p.m.):

There isn’t a moving car visible anywhere. Connecticut Ave is completely still, as are the surrounding streets. It’s sort of amazing. And lovely. I wish I had boots.
