We awaken to gray skies, but with a hint of sunshine. Time to get out and see some leaves!
We choose a route that starts on the Caribou Trail, crosses to the Honeymoon Trail (where the spectacular maples of Heartbreak Ridge are located), and then back to Highway 61 via the Sawbill Trail. It’s a great route!
We cross the Temperance River, a watery little riffle below the colored hillsides.
We end our tour watching the Temperance tumble along on its way to Lake Superior.
