Fall color at Minnehaha Falls, Minneapolis

(Last Updated On: October 17, 2018)

Usually the waterfall is the highlight when visiting Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis, Minnesota. However, when fall comes along the waterfall can be outshone by the brilliant colored trees that line the gorge.

Who needs a waterfall when the leaves are so colorful!

  1. Those colours are so vivid, I’d love to be there. We don’t get fall colours like that in the South of France where I live though some years are a bit more colourful than others. Last year was better than usual.

    1. Fall is my favorite season and, while it is beautiful this year, last year was even better here too. I don’t think I could live somewhere that didn’t have fall colors, although it does limit my fall travels – I hate to leave here when it is so beautiful!

    1. Heehee. There actually is a good-sized waterfall here, but it looked pretty much like it always does, so I didn’t spend much time photographing it! I’ll try to have a few more pictures of colored leaves for you while you are enjoying flower season!
