A Trio of Barns: View from the Goose Creek Rest Area in Minnesota

On a quick trip north last week, we stopped at the Goose Creek Rest Area along I-35. Since it was a beautiful fall day I took a bit of time to look around and spotted these old barns nearby.

  1. What a gorgeous scene, and the changing colors are gorgeous! Thanks for linking up to Travel Photo Thursday this week. #TPThursday

  2. What a delightful trio. I love getting off the highway and finding old barns (in Australia we call them sheds). A good find on a roadside stop!

    1. Yes, Jan, it was a good find. I keep seeing pictures of old sheds and houses and vehicles from Australia – I have to get there some day to check it all out for myself!

  3. Great shot, Cindy. Love the colors. There’s something about old buildings and especially old barns. They do exude a character all their own (and are probably teeming with all kinds of creepy crawlies).

    1. Each does seem to have a personality all their own. Unfortunately or fortunately (as the case may be) I couldn’t get close enough to these from where I was to see if they had any creepy crawlies! Thanks for your kind words, Marcia.

Your turn!
