Photo Thursday: Almost Fall in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Fall leaves
It is leaf season here in Minnesota and heavy rains have moved in for the next few days – further limiting my already limited opportunities to get out and enjoy the fall colors.

Luckily, I don’t have to travel far to get a taste of fall. These shots were taken just down the street from my house!

  1. I’ll admit that it’s a bit sad to see the leaves changing colour already… even though my favourite season is fall. I’m wondering where the time went to quickly.

  2. Beautiful photos! We don’t get the wonderful show of color in Texas where I’m originally from, and definitely on the tropical island in Malaysia where I currently live. Someday, I hope to see some real autumn leaves.

    1. Fall colors are great, but I have to say that I’d be willing trade them (at least some years) for a tropical island in Malaysia. You live in what appears to be a beautiful place!

  3. Awesome colours and it’s funny to think that you are in Fall as we are in Spring in Wa! Our Fall colours in the south west can be lovely, although we don’t have a lot of deciduous trees – lots of Kari, Mari and Tuart trees though which are very stately, but Eucalypts, so evergreen. You photos were lovely.

    1. It IS odd to think that the seasons are flipped. I’d like to get to your part of the world some day — fall is one of the best times to visit Minnesota, when is the best time to plan a trip down under?

Your turn!
