Most of the baseball interest in Minnesota focuses around the Minnesota Twins and their first-rate new stadium in Minneapolis. But the Twins aren’t the only baseball game in town, the state is also home to a number of teams in the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball, including the Saint Paul Saints.

Saints games are mostly known for the between inning competitions, the hot tub suite, freight trains, and the pig mascot. In the midst of all the chaos, they hold a baseball game too. Even on a miserably hot night, it’s a good place to be.

I agree–though I love going to Twins game, the Saints know how to have fun and not take themselves too seriously!
