Nysted , situated on the southern coast, is a bit out of our way, but distances are short and it sounds like a charming place, so we make a detour.
Nysted is a lovely historic town wrapped around Rødsand Bay. We drive through the heart of the town hoping to find a spot for lunch, but the town is very, very quiet and we never find one.
But the town is delightful and we will definitely stay here next time we are in Denmark.
I’m sorry to move on, but we have a lot more to do today.
