I end up spending most of the morning working – an issue has come up – but do find time for a couple quick games of cribbage before facing the fact that we really must leave.
I always hate to leave. Maybe I can just stay.
Someday, maybe, but not now.
We make a stop at the safe harbor in Silver Bay so I can check out what remains of the ice.
(There really isn’t much ice left.)
There is time for a quick stop and a phone call in Duluth. (Work to tend to, you know.)
And then we are headed home, with a stop at a rest area along the way to take a conference call, bringing the weekend to an end even before we reach home.
