By the sea on Cape Ann, Massachusetts

(Last Updated On: May 25, 2019)

It is a gorgeous day today, so we are off to Cape Ann to explore the coast. Our first real stop, appropriately enough, is in Lanesville, where we end up at Lane’s Cove.

We continue on around the end of the peninsula and into Rockport.

This seems like the ideal spot to stop for a lunch and a bit of shopping.

Our final stop is Gloucester, where it takes us so long to find the Eastern Point Lighthouse (to get to the lighthouse, you drive down a lot of roads marked “private,” which is a bit disconcerting, but means you get good views of some very nice houses) that we don’t get into any of the galleries scattered throughout town!
