Rocks on the Beach at Rocky Island, Apostle Islands, Wisconsin

I’ve always found the movement of water mesmerizing. Throw a few rocks into that water, and I could be entertained for hours.

Rocky Island, part of Lake Superior’s Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, has a lovely sand beach with just enough rocks along the beach to keep the water’s movement along the shore interesting.

  1. Beautiful photographs. They seem so real that the water seem to be in motion and I can seem to feel how refreshing it is.

  2. You’ve really captured the movement of the water over and around the rocks. Beautiful and tranquil at the same time.

Your turn!
