Photo Thursday: A Disneyesque Model Railroad, Franklin Park Conservatory, Columbus, Ohio

This display was tucked into a corner of the Franklin Park Conservatory and I couldn’t resist taking a few photos for my friend Brian. He’ll know why.

(And no, I don’t have any idea why this is on display in the conservatory.)

    1. It isn’t the sort of thing I would generally photograph, but one of my best friends at work is totally into trains and Disney, so I figured that I needed pictures at least for him.

The new look will be better when I reload the older posts to up-size the photos and get the links reconnected and get my artwork done, but I do like the way it looks. Glad to know you like it too! Wish I hadn’t waited so long to do it.

  1. I came across a similar miniature train display at the Singapore Gardens by the Bay conservatory and also thought it was a bit odd and out-of-place. Hmmm… Perhaps its to give the kids something to watch while the adults study flowers?

  2. For all of you who may be seeing these types of railway displays. They are actually very well suited for conservatories or gardens as they ARE Garden Railways!
    Google same.
