While it is a perfect day for lazing on deck or along the beach, we are convinced that there must be wind somewhere and cast off in search of it.
It is utterly still as we set out, but the scenery is nice.
Eventually I notice subtle signs that the air is freshening. From my perch at the wheel, I’m the first to notice, but soon everyone feels it. We raise the sails and immediately begin to glide across the water under the power of the wind.
It’s possible that being under sail in a steady breeze is the best feeling in the world.
